The School of Natural Resources and the Environment is situated where the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts meet, where the Rockies meet the Siera Madres, where the U.S. borders Mexico, and where mountains form "sky islands" surrounded by a desert sea. The opportunities for you in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment at the University of Arizona are as diverse as the landscape. You can pursue your interests in conservation, management, economics, and policy, scaled from genes to the ecoystems. You can engage in ecological, genetics, GIS, and human dimensions research, and go on to careers in academia, with agencies or organizations, and even your own business or organization.
