I am, currently, studying vegetation change from 1935 to the present within the San Simon Watershed, found in Southeastern Arizona. I am using historical maps and contemporary remotely-sensed data in the San Simon Watershed to see the changing vegetation. I am particularly interested in the effects of large erosion-control structures on changing vegetation trends along the San Simon channel.
