Curriculum Vitae: 

I was born in the Philippines and raised in Hong Kong before coming to the U.S. for University at CSULB. During my undergraduate career I did an Undergraduate Directed Research project analyzing the accumulation of persistant organic pollutants in two endangered albatross species. I also did some work in an Evolutionary Research lab gathering data about wing directional asymmetry from Drosophila populations. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University Long Beach with an undergraduate degree in Biology (Option in Zoology).

The summer following my graduation, I worked with burrowing owls as an Assistant Wildlife Biologist for Dr. Courtney Conway at the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge for a few weeks. I am now pursuing a Master’s degree will most likely be working with burrowing owls for my thesis project.
