CONSERVATION POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Position length: Up to 3 year appointment with potential for extension.
The Van Buren Conservation District (VBCD) is seeking interested applicants to serve as a Conservation Technician for Van Buren County, Michigan. The position is full-time and will be located in Paw Paw, Michigan. The individual will be employed by the Van Buren Conservation District and work with partner organizations.

The Program Technician position will deliver the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) through on-farm technical assistance, using farm specific risk assessments, educations and conservation plan development to implement practices, and coordinate local, state and federal agency resources to help reduce identified environmental risks, and make progress toward MAEAP verification.
The Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research (CILER), located at the University of Michigan, announces the 2012 Great Lakes Summer Student Fellowship Program. The 2012 program is hosted this year by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL) in Ann Arbor, MI, and by NOAA’s Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary (TBNMS) in Alpena, MI.
