Greg Butler received the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance "Scientific Research Scholarship"
Greg Butler, MS student in SNRE (Ecology and Management of Rangelands) received the Altar Valley Conservation Alliance "Scientific Research Scholarship" which is awarded annually (this is the first however) to researchers focused on projects in the Altar Valley. Greg's research is looking at factors influencing the adoption and maintenance of conservation practices by ranchers and other land managers in response to drought; and to describe ranchers evaluation of the outputs from the simulation of sediment budgets for different conservation practices in combination with drought.
