The status and fate of the federally endangered Mt. The work of Professor John Koprowski, Wildlife and Fisheries Science, and his students is addressed in the article.  With less than 300 individuals remaining in the population, the species is one of the most endangered mammals in North America.  Along with his students and research staff, Dr. Koprowski has investigated the ecology of the species for over 10 years.
