SNRE Seminar: Advancing the Field of Landscape-scale Approaches to Conservation, Resource Management, and Sustainability

This first presentation in this new seminar series on landscape-scale conservation will explore how the "large landscape scale" fits within the spectrum of existing natural resource management efforts, examine the strengths and weaknesses of working at the large landscape scale, and review several examples of people and organizations working effectively at this scale. The presentation will also introduce an emerging network of large landscape conservation practitioners as a new forum for practitioners and others to think strategically and systematically about how to advance the field and practice of large landscape conservation and, with it, improve conservation outcomes at the large landscape scale.
