Seafha Blount: Wildlife Professional & Native American Royalty

SNR wildlife graduate student Seafha Blount is active in the school and across campus. Seafha is Yurok and Karuk from Northwest California, and participates on the board of The Wildlife Society's Native Peoples' Working Group and as treasurer of the Wildcat Pow Wow Society. Seafha also recently won the Miss Native American, University of Arizona title. The December 2007 issue of the Wildlife Professional, features Seafha in the article Exploring Diversity. Additionally, her scholarship has been awarded support from the Alfred Sloan Foundation/American Indian Partnership. Our congratulations to Seafha.
