USGS Sonoran Desert Research Station

The Sonoran Desert Research Station, part of the US Geological Survey's Southwest Biological Science Center, conducts basic and applied research. SDRS investigations provide quality scientific information relevant to conservation and management of the nation's biological resources, with emphasis on species and ecosystems of southwestern North America.

Housed within the School of Natural Resources and the Environment, the Station collaborates with SNRE faculty to gather, manage, and provide natural resource data to land managers throughout the desert region.
