Facing Tomorrow's Challenges

SNR professor Dr. Charles van Riper is also a US Geologic Survey (USGS) research scientist and unit leader for the Sonoran Desert Research Station. Over the past several years he has helped shape policy within USGS - work that is now showcased in the circular : "Facing Tomorrow's Challenges - U.S. Geological Survey Science in the Decade 2007-2017". This publication was recently awarded a Blue Pencil Award from the National Association of Government Communicators.
