The Arizona Fish and Wildlife Cooperative Unit wins Outstanding Science Award

This year's National Cooperative Research Unit Award for Outstanding Science went to the Arizona Unit, based here in the School of Natural Resources. The award includes an increase in federal funding, in recognition of the Unit's "demonstrated strength in science productivity with relevance to the needs of State and Federal partners and for its contribution to education and professional leadership." This is the second national award the AZ Coop Unit has received in three years.  In 2006 it received the award for best cooperator relations across the nation.

We congratulate SNR faculty members Scott Bonar, Courtney Conway and Melanie Culver for their hard work and dedication.
