Jason Field presents new wind erosion results in special session of joint meeting in Houston

SNR PhD student Jason Field presented new research findings on how wind erosion varies with type and amount of vegetation patch types.  His presentation was part of a special session at the Houston meeting titled "Gains and Losses: Soil Nutrients and Moisture in Aridic Soils Under Changing Climates"  addressing a theme of International Year of Planet Earth.  Jason's co-authors included his advisor, Dave Breshears; Jeff Whicker of Los Alamos National Lab; Chris Zou - previously with SNR and now at Oklahoma State; and Criag Allen with the USGS.
