Inaugural My Arizona Lecture: Dr. Julio Betancourt

Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Building, Room 202Our colleagues in the School of Geography and Development are pleased to announce their first annual "My Arizona" lecture, to be presented by Dr. Julio Betancourt (USGS and adjunct faculty in SNRE).
Julio's lecture, "Can we save Arizona's Sonoran Desert?", will build on his tireless work on invasive species and other threats to our desert ecosystem. The presentation will be richly augmented by the work of Pulitzer Prize winning photographer Jack Dykinga. Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
