Curriculum Vitae:

During my undergraduate career I worked for the US Forest Service at the Rocky Mountain Research Station in Flagstaff, AZ. During my time in the USFS I worked on various research projects looking at the effect of prescribed burns on birds, the effects of forest treatment activities on small mammals, and the nests of cavity nesting birds in treated areas. I also was fortunate enough to travel to Australia and work on a project looking at the effects of vertebrates on seedling recruitment in the rainforest of far-north Queensland. My graduate career was spent doing a study on the effects of catastrophic wildfire on an introduced population of Abert’s squirrels occurring on Mt. Graham in southeastern Arizona.
