Dr. Harris began her career in Chicago working in advertising, but returned to
school in pursuit of a career that would be both personally and
professionally gratifying. She founded Harris Environmental Group,
Inc. in 1994 as sole proprietor and employee. In the ensuing years Dr.
Harris has built an award winning natural and cultural resources
consulting company. She has served as a Trustee for the Arizona –
Sonora Desert Museum and a Board member of the Tucson Audubon Society.
She has also been an Adjunct Research Scientist for the University of
Arizona. Dr. Harris has published widely in the scientific literature.
