After graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies at Connecticut College, I joined the Peace Corps and spent two years as a Protected Areas Management volunteer in rural Honduras. There I worked on a variety of natural resource management projects including organic coffee and ecotourism. I spent a year working at an environmental consulting company in Boston between my time in Honduras and coming to Tucson.

At University of Arizona, I am a Master’s student with a focus on Watershed Management and Ecohydrology. My specific interests deal with spatial analysis and modeling of watersheds. My research will focus on the effects of wildfire on erosion and water quality on a watershed scale.
