$900,000 Awarded to continue sustainable fisheries projects in Gulf of California, Mexico
In December 2010, Professor Bill Shaw and Senior Project Coordinator Tad Pfister were awarded $900,000 from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to continue the “PANGAS” project (http://www.pangas.arizona.edu) for another 2 years. Pfister and Shaw coordinate this multidisciplinary effort that involves collaboration with 4 Mexican institutions and the University of California, Santa Cruz.
