Dr. de Steiguer Speaks to Farmers and Ranchers on Cap-and-Trade

Short Description: 
SNRE professor brings research to working landscapes

Prof. Ed de Steiguer recently addressed a group of farmers and
ranchers regarding the economic impact on agricultural  producers of
the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade legislation (HR 2454) now before the
U.S. Congress.  The meeting, held in Las Cruces, N.M., was sponsored by the
American Farmland Trust.
