New NSF funding for Research Experiences for Undergraduates taps SNRE faculty as mentors
Congratulations to Mitchell Pavao-Zuckerman (Assistant Research Professor, Biosphere 2 and Adjunct Assistant Professor, SNRE) for his successful proposal to NSF to fund new 10-week summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates site: the Environmental and Earth Systems Research at Biosphere 2 (B2-EESR REU) program . The program will take advantage of the unique nature of the UA Biosphere 2 (B2), including housing at its “Student Village,” and opportunities to participate in a cutting-edge university-run suite of experimental projects.
